Project partners have worked hard in the past few months to establish the FIRST national networks of first points of contact in their countries. We are happy to be able to form four national networks in Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, and United Kingdom including a variety of different organisations: NGOs, associations, charities, schools, local authorities, public institutions, universities and career centres, companies, theatres, elderly homes, and youth centres. The diversity of the networks shows that organisations and individuals are showing interest in the topic and that they want to be actively involved in providing help and support to the victims of domestic and gender-based violence.
In April 2017, the representatives from the organisations included in the networks will attend a training where they will gain comprehensive, relevant and useful information about the topic and learn how to appropriately respond and provide support to the victims.
The FIRST e-tool will be available not only to the organisations in the national FIRST networks, but also to the general public.
