Its team has expertise and experiences in management and implementation of local, national, and international projects and initiatives.

The AIRE Centre is a specialist charity, whose mission is to promote awareness of European law rights and assist marginalized individuals and those in vulnerable circumstances to assert those rights. Their work includes highlighting the issues surrounding violence against women in general, as well as training sessions for professionals who work with victims of violence in order to equip them with information about European legal rights.

Association Centre Dinamika is an NGO with the mission is to provide psychosocial support, legal aid and counseling to women and children – victims of domestic and gender based violence. Their aim is to help change the social status, role and position of women in a society, contribute to their protection from discrimination and ensure real equality of women and their children despite ethnic, national and religious affiliation. Association Center Dinamika is a provider of the social service “Crisis Center ” for women and their children – victims of domestic violence.

ASSOCIATION SOS HELP-LINE

The Association SOS Help-line for Women and Children – Victims of Violence was founded as the initiative of activist feminist women in 1989 and is the first non-governmental organisation in Slovenia specialised in dealing with violence against women, and helping women and children victims of violence. It is a women’s non-governmental, non-profit and humanitarian organization that works in a public interest in the field of social security and in the field of equal opportunities. Their mission is to help, support and counsel women and children who have experienced or are still experiencing violence in their families and relationships.

CENTRE ROSA

CROATIA

Centre for Women War Victims – ROSA (Centre ROSA) is a local non-governmental, feminist organization that works with women regardless of their nationality, religion, age, status in militaristic and nationalistic context. The NGO was established in response to war violence against women but developed to support survivors of other forms of gender based violence: rape, prostitution and trafficking in women for sexual exploitation. Their objectives are empowerment of women survivors of gender based violence, promotion of women’s human rights, increasing public awareness on gender based violence, its causes and consequences.

THE ASSOCIATION OF CENTERS FOR SOCIAL WORK

SLOVENIA

The Association of Centers for Social Work links all (62) centers for social work in Slovenia. Their main role is to ensure professional support to their member organizations by providing training and educational opportunities; proposing a variety of social protection programs. They promote common interests of centers for social work in preparation of legislation, and work closely with a team of regional coordinators for protection of victims of domestic violence.
